Plastic Break-Away Hanging Cards
Hanging plastic cards are used as a point-of-sale to display gift cards, phone cards and other POS cards. The entire unit is made of plastic, and the hanger portion breaks-off a standard credit-card sized plastic card that can include a barcode or magnetic stripe to work with your POS system.
Other options include a scratch-off for activation (such as a phone card), signature strip and any kind of variable data you may require. The hanger area can be small (just enough to hang the cards), or larger to create an advertising area to explain the card's usefulness.

Plastic Cards Affixed to a Paper Hanger
In addition to the plastic break-away hanging cards (priced above), hanging gift cards can also be tipped onto a paper carrier. These can be a more economical option for longer runs than the all-plastic break-away cards. The hanging card is similar to a postcard that has a hole punched at the top for hanging the cards on a display rack. The holes can be a standard round hole or, more typical, a Sombrero hole.
These tipped-on cards are affixed to a paper carrier with fugitive glue. Also known a booger-glue or glue dots, your plastic cards can be tipped-on to other items as well, such as a door hanger, brochure, etc (see affixing)
